Pie Insurance: Manufacturing Insurance Appetite
Pie's manufacturing appetite is limited to light operations — think assembly, packaging, electronics manufacturing, and light fabrication. Heavy manufacturing with significant machinery hazards, chemical exposure, or high injury frequency is outside their comfort zone. For light manufacturing WC, Pie can be competitive, but for the full manufacturing package, use Travelers, CNA, or Acuity as the primary carrier. Pie may work as a WC-only supplement if their pricing undercuts the package carrier's WC component.
