Market statistics are attributed to named sources — for example NAIC carrier counts, the Ivans Connectivity Report, Vertafore and Big "I" industry studies — and linked where a public source exists. Cost figures on our insurance cost pages are attributed to the named published source on each page, alongside the date we last verified them.

Facts about other companies — carriers, insurtechs, MGAs, and software vendors — are sourced from those companies' own published materials and verifiable public filings, not from third-party commentary.

Appetite and carrier data

Carrier appetite and product data comes from observation of carriers' own public materials and portal behavior. Each appetite entry carries a last-verified date. The methodology is documented in our published research paper, Observed Appetite, which includes an open dataset. Appetite changes constantly; always confirm with the carrier before submitting.

Dates mean something

Published and updated dates on our pages change only when the content actually changes. Data pages display when their figures were last verified; we do not bump dates without substantive updates.

Where QuoteSweep appears in its own content

QuoteSweep is the vendor of the QuoteSweep platform. Where our comparison or buying-guide content includes QuoteSweep, that is stated plainly rather than posed as neutral third-party review — and claims about competitors are sourced from those competitors' own published materials.

Affiliate and partner links

Some pages contain partner or affiliate links. When a paid relationship exists, it is disclosed inline on the page where the link appears. Paid relationships never change the facts we publish about a product or carrier.
